This article will provide you with step-by-step instructions for connecting your Bluetooth earbuds to your Evergreen laptop.
1. While the actual buttons you press (and for how long) can vary depending on the headphones, the pairing process usually works the same way:
Ensure that your earbuds are placed inside their charging case and keep the case closed for a few seconds. For best results when connecting, make sure to have your earbuds charged to at least 20%

2. Open the case of your earbuds and leave the earbuds inside

3. Next you will need to put your earbuds into pairing mode. This is typically done with the charging case.
· Apple AirPods: To pair your AirPods, press and hold the circular Setup button until you see the LED lights flashing on the case. The flashing light is an indication that you are now in pairing mode.
· Other Earbuds: To pair your earbuds, press and hold the system button until the LED blinks. Your earbuds are now in pairing mode for Bluetooth.
(Your earbuds may have an alternative way of pairing that does not involve a button. In this case, please refer to your user manual for pairing instructions or call the IT Helpdesk for additional assistance.)

4. Click on the Windows logo on the bottom left corner of your computer to bring up the Start Menu and search for “Settings” represented by a gear icon. Click this icon to open the Settings menu.

5. From the Settings menu, click on “Bluetooth & Devices”

6. From the Bluetooth & Devices menu, click Add device, next select the option “Bluetooth”

7. After a few seconds, a pop-up screen will provide a list of possible devices to connect to using Bluetooth. Select your Earbuds

8. A window will pop up declaring “Your device is ready to go”. Click Done and you should now be able to use your Earbuds with your Windows laptop.
